finally some craftyness

So it has been a little over 2 weeks since we have moved to our new place. I am finally unburied from boxes and have the internet hooked up. I finally had some time for a little craftyness. I made a canvas for friends and family to sign for an upcoming graduation party. I am totally lovin Claudine Hellmuth's Studio line distributed by Ranger. I am pretty sure I have gone thru at least a half dozen of the matte mutli-medium jars since CHA. You can find her work and full product line here

Anyway for the canvas I used the multi-medium three different ways on this project. I used it to transfer the photo onto the canvas, to attached the paper to the canvas, and then to create a glaze using 2 parts multi-medium to one part of her blank canvas paint (aka White) and painted it over a mask to create the swirl pattern.

If you have a senior I can create a custom canvas for $65-$100 depending on the size. Please email me with any questions hailey@paper-and-glue.com with canvas in the subject line.

Also I am teaching a class at http://www.scrappychiclivonia.com/ on April 19th using these products. For more examples using the Studio line please check out my March 10th post!

I can't imagine the actual act of moving could ever be good but it has to be very nice to start feeling settled. LOVE the canvas and the amazing techniques you used.
