I have been super busy getting prepared to move to my new place at the end of the month...so lots of purging, donating, sorting, and packing. Leaving not much time for crafting. So after long days and the kids are sound asleep I grabbed a diet coke and went to work. Making a sample I was very happy with for my upcoming class which is based upon a canvas posted earlier this month. As I hung the sample on the wall to photograph and send to Chris the owner of Scrappy Chic (click here for more details http://www.scrappychiclivonia.com/)
I started laughing because I did not visit NIAGRA falls......So with no way to fix my typo the following night I created the exact same sample....well almost...
So unless you have flawless spelling the lesson of the day is not to create class samples while sleep deprived! :)
Have a great day, Hailey
PS- I used Claudine Hellmuth's sticky-back canvas as the base for this wall hanging it can be found here... http://www.collageartist.com/claudine_hellmuth_studio.htm

LOL. We all have moments like this. My recent (non-scrapping) was emptying the dishwasher and trying to put dishes in the fridge.
TFS.
That is totally someing I would do!
oh i totally would have made that spelling error too! isn't it supposed to rhyme with Viagra?? :)
OH no. Lisa (the poster above me) I'm LOLing because I kept saying in my head Viagra too! Too funny.
you guys are funny...as soon as I told my boyfriend about the spelling mistake that is what he said...
That is too funny!
Hey at least you caught the spelling error before posting, right? :)
I'm really glad you posted the corrected version, because I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong with the first one! So perhaps it's not just sleep deprivation...blondeness might factor into spelling mistakes, too LOL
I would have done the same thing! Reminds us to use spell check! It is a great project!
thanks for the laugh -- glad you were able to recreate it with no trouble though!
